On 144 prior occasions, we have convened the supreme authority of our Fraternity. We've visited New York, Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco, Las Vegas, New Orleans and most recently Denver, and in 2010 we will come together again in Boston, Massachusetts!
Chi Phi encourages students and alumni leaders to come to Congress early to take advantage of educational programming that focuses on Alumni Education, Ritual Education and Recruitment Education. Thanks to a generous grant from the Chi Phi Educational Trust, the Fraternity will produce three different sessions for Chi Phi members on Friday, July 16th, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Hyatt Regency in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Alumni Education Track, led by Ron Frank, Nu Delta 1983, will focus on alumni association, housing corporation and personal development for alumni participants. The Ritual Education Track, led by Heritage and Traditions Counselor Glenn Johnson, Mu Theta 2004, will teach members how to perform the Ritual properly and the meanings behind them. The final track will focus on Recruitment. Dave Stollman from CampuSpeak Inc, will be leading the Recruitment session this year.
Be sure to register for Pre-Congress on the Congress Registration Form.

What is Congress?
Congress is the supreme authority of the Fraternity. The days are spent conducting the affairs of the Fraternity and the evenings are spent enjoying the host city. Everyone will come from different parts of the country, but the Brotherhood and coordination that will take place over three days will strenthen our Fraternity and leave Chi Phi better than it was before.
During the Congressional sessions, Chapter, Colony, and Alumni delegates will each have their own place on the floor of Congress. Over the weekend, Congress will meet to consider the establishment or revision of policies and initiatives adopt Chi Phi's 2011 budget and consider any of its own legislation. Congress will also elect a Grand Alpha Elect and recognize our 2010 award winners.
We've learned that Chi Phi and family complement each other nicely. While our Brothers conduct the business of the Fraternity through committee meetings and four sessions, our sweethearts will tour Boston and get to know each other as well. Lasting friendships are formed which have been credited with increasing alumni participation.
