The Chi Phi Fraternity is pleased to host our Advisor Webinar Series once again in 2018.  These webinars are designed to provide education for all Alumni and Advisors who are currently or interested in working with our undergraduate men.

Each webinar has an individual registration; therefore, click on the title of each Webinar you wish to attend. Following your registration, you will receive an email with instructions for accessing the webinar. All webinars will be held at 7:00 p.m. (EST).

For this series, we will be utilizing Zoom Conferencing. This program allows for video chat as well as call in availability. It is highly encouraged that you attend the program using the video feature so that you can meet and interact with fellow Alumni from across the country!

A recorded copy of the webinar will be made available in the Resource Center of Chi Phi Connect seven days after the webinar.

February 6, 2018: “Understanding Generation Z”: Since Alumni Volunteers are often working with a generation different than their own, the purpose of this webinar will be to provide some insight on today’s college student. Topics covered will include an explanation of “Generation Z”, the effects and relevance of social media, and methods in which to relate to this type of student.

March 6, 2018:Mentoring and Advising: A Quick How To Guide“: This webinar will provide resources for volunteers so that they feel more comfortable in advising and mentoring the undergraduates. Material presented will discuss the “Life Cycle of a Chapter” and the ways in which Alumni can engage with the men to ensure that they stay on the path to success.

April 3, 2018: Planning for Success“: Summer break is right around the corner and Fall semester 2018 feels so far away. However, the key to success is to begin planning now! This webinar will offer ideas and strategies to ensure Chapters don’t lose focus over the summer term and begin the fall ready to thrive.

May 1, 2018: The Tumultuous Climate of Greek Life: It’s no secret that Greek Life stays in the media spotlight; therefore, this webinar will discuss the current state of affairs in regards to Greek Life across campuses. It will look at recent news articles, discuss the lack of tolerance for hazing, changing policies in regulating alcohol, as well as ways in which to make a positive impact on the campus and community culture.

June 5, 2018: “Ladder of Risk”: This webinar will provide an overview of the Ladder of Risk: a program designed by Pi Kappa Phi that outlines key steps to ensure that Chapters remain proactive rather than reactive when it comes to risk management policies.  The webinar will also include more Chi Phi specific expectations and allow for a Q&A.
