159th Special Congress

Join us for the most historic Chi Phi Celebration that will occur in our lifetime.
This Congress, unlike others, is a Special Congress, where we will celebrate 200 years of Chi Phi and not conduct the usual business of the Fraternity.
Friday, July 25, 2025:
A welcome ceremony will be held at the historic Naval Lodge No 4; the longest continuously operating lodge in Washington, D.C. Attendees will conclude the evening with a reception and dinner at a historic venue located near the White House.
Saturday, July 26, 2025:
The morning will begin with a special community service project that we strongly encourage all Brothers, Friends, and attendees of Congress to participate in. Later in the afternoon, Brothers will return to the Naval Lodge and engage in a historic Ritual presentation which will be unique to our Bicentennial celebration.
The evening will conclude with our main event which will be held at the historic Willard Hotel; the location of the ratification of the Union of the Southern Order and Northern Order which formalized the Chi Phi Fraternity as what we know it today. Included throughout the evening will be a live civil war era band debuting Chi Phi music never before played in public, special presentations, a historic archives display, and much more. All attendees will receive a commemorative book and program as well as a special gift. This once in a lifetime event will be forever etched in our organization’s rich history, so be sure to save the date on your calendar now!
Sunday, July 27, 2025:
We will close out our weekend with a final rooftop brunch, where attendees will be able to view the White House along with other significant landmarks in Wasington, D.C.
